Kind Bag produces a range of reusable shopping bags - each one made from premium quality, silky soft recycled PET which is produced from six used plastic bottles that would otherwise be destined for our oceans. The bags are durable and water resistant, fold neatly into a pocket-sized pouch, and come in a range of cool and quirky colourful designs that are regularly refreshed.
Founder Maria Rodriguez started to become aware of the worldwide plastic issue several years ago and like many people started cutting down on her plastic consumption, realising the effects plastic can have on the environment and our oceans. Maria knew that single use plastic bags were a huge global problem so decided to take this problem as her own crusade and designed a reusable carrier bag made from used plastic bottles. In 2019, Kind Bag was born.
As well as helping society by reducing the number of single-use plastic bags used and wasted, Kind Bag also donates 10% of their profits to Just One Ocean - a UK registered charity committed to preserving our oceans for future generations through science, education and communication.
Features of the bag include long, wide straps to ensure a comfortable fit around the shoulder; internal pocket (that is also used to fold the bag into); spacious capacity equal to 2-3 standard carrier bags; made from one piece of material and sewn with strong stitching so suitable for loads of up to 20kg; water resistant and lightweight; machine washable at 30 degrees.
Each bag measures approximately 50cm wide (at widest point) x 39cm deep (when used). Straps measure 6cm wide x 42cm long. Folded bag in pouch measures 14cm x 12cm.
Presented in a recyclable card sleeve detailing the bag’s eco credentials.
Made in China in a factory audited to BSCI social compliance guidelines. Material tested and certified as 100% recycled PET.
